Hello and welcome to my website!

I’m Alexa, a proud mom of a boy and a girl, a wife, and the founder of LuMiPawsPets. I also have the joy of being a pet parent to two wonderful dogs. Luna, our 12-year-old female Yorkie, has been with us since she was just 5 weeks old, and Milo, our 1-year-old male Morkie, joined our family at 4 months old. As someone who deeply understands the financial responsibilities of pet care, I’d like to share a personal story about Luna’s health journey as a puppy.

Despite numerous vet visits, including X-rays and blood work went over $2K, we struggled to pay her bills and to identify the cause of her stomach issues. It was eventually discovered that Luna had allergies to chicken and grains. Through research and experimentation with different pet food brands, we were able to find a suitable diet for her. Now, that I prepare their meals myself, I understand what what ingredients work best for them.

Being a pet parent has taught me the importance of closely monitoring my pet’s food habits and always seeking professional advice before making any dietary changes, as every pet is unique. I believe that a healthy diet is crucial for our furry friend’s well-being.
