Homemade Grain-Free Food Recipe for a Healthy Pup!
Our pets will feel better eating homemade meals than processed package meals. Create a homemade dog food recipe focused on grain-free, healthy meals made with only meat and vegetables. You have control over your pups’ ingredients and you can cook a variety of homemade options that cater to your dog’s dietary sensitivities. Always consult a vet.

Healthy Delicious Dog Food Recipe
Here is what I cook for my two dogs Luna and Milo.

- Blender Food Processor
- Stove
- Storage Containers You can use a freezer Zip Lock bags for the portions
Materials
- 4 lb of Ground Beef I use 80%
- 2 lbs of Ground Chicken
- 1 lb of Ground Pork
- 4 boil eggs
- Vegetables: 1 bag of steam peas 1 bag of steam carrots, 1 bag of broccoli with cauliflower. 1 Red Bell Pepper, 1 Yellow Bell Pepper.
- 5 leaves of Mint
- 4 Tablespoon of Coconut Organic Oil
Instructions
- In a large Pot in the stove, add the ground meat, ground chicken and ground pork in medium heat and cook it for about 30 mins or until all the meat is well cooked.
- Remove most of the meat liquid but not all.
- While it is cooking, in another pot add the vegetables and the 4 eggs to cook for about 20 mins.
- In about 10 Mins, remove the eggs, peel the eggshell and cut it in small pieces and leave it for later to incorporate.
- Do not burn yourself, in a blender or food processor, add all the vegetables and the mint leaves with the boiled water from the pot and blend together.
- Incorporate the mixture in the pot where the meat is cooking.
- Add the chopped cooked eggs, lower the stove temperature and turn it off.
- add the 4 tablespoons of Coconut Organic Oil and mix it all.
- Wait until is fully cool down and start separate the portions you will be using for each week. Keep one container in the refrigerator for your one week meal.
- The other portions either use a storage container or Ziploc to store in the freezer for the following weeks.
- You should have enough meal for 2-3 weeks, depends on the portions you serve your pet.
- Serve a room temperature or use the microwave for about 15 secs to warm up their meal (Please make sure it is not hot, you don’t want to burn your pet) and it is ready to eat.
- You can modify this recipe depending on your budget and pet's needs. I don't add salt and seasonings.
